Anyway to make the map smaller?

I know in Civ3 you can customize the map size, either choosing tiny, small, large, etc. But in Civ1 I can't find that option.

In Civ1 I know we can customize the map as far as temperature, land/water ratio, etc. but is there any way to change the map size?

In WinCiv that's not possible. Maybe in Civ1 DOS version using a map editor but I don't know anything about that.

Thanks for your response. I was afraid there was no way to create a tiny or small map to play on in Civ1.

It's OK. You can do that in Civ3, but the straightforwardness of Civ1 still makes it number ONE in my book!
