Apostolic Palace blocks contact for ever

Hi to you all!

I am currently playing as Alexander and after having voted for an Apostolic palace resolution for an embargo against Elizabeth, she refuses to talk against me. Even after some 70 turns have passed and the AP became obsolete and Elizabeth is friendly towards me. I know it has been mentioned here http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=5869694 but the problem in that case disappeared as it was supposed to; in my case it still persists.

Is there anything I can do?

Unfortunately not. Usually the "refuses to talk" from trade embargo lasts a ludicrous amount of time. 70 turns plus is not unknown (what game speed?). This has been a problem for a while, but the AP has rather highlighted it. It never made much sense for a civ to refuse to talk after severing trade relations, particularly for longer than they do in warfare.
