OK so I haven't a talent for headline writing.

Here's the link: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060725/ap_on_sc/ireland_ancient_book

Here's the summary:

A 800-1000 year-old book was discovered accidentally in an Irish bog very recently.

The book was found open to a page describing, in Latin script, Psalm 83, in which God hears complaints of other nations' attempts to wipe out the name of Israel.

A propagandists dream, an irrelevant coincidence or a miracle?

None of those; just a great find for historians. Hopefully, the area will turn up other artifacts. Nice find, thanks for posting it.

An interesting find, but if you ever read the bible you'll soon discover that it seems like every other page is filled with someone trying to invade the jews so it's hardly spectacular or a miracle.

It's been 25 years since I last opened that wretched book. So it's not as relevant to current events as I thought? :(
