Armageddon counter slowly increasing

In most of the games I play I don't get to see the horsemen or even hell terrain
I would like an option added to have it gradually increase every 10 turns or so
So you would have to actively try to lower it or else you would get horsemen in your face very fast
We could call it "End of the world"

Have you tried playing with the "Last Days" option enabled? It doubles changes to the armageddon counter.

Also, don't play with the Elohim. Or the Mazatl. They are both quite good at lowering it.

Try playing on a higher difficulty level.

Both my last few Emperor games (marathon speed), I ended up having a counter of 40 by the 85th turn, despite me trying to lower the thing every chance I got. THAT made for several short games.

I even HAD the Elohim in each game. They were actually a large contributor to the thing going up
