Is there a way (command) to get all of your artillery or other bombardment type units to bombard by clicking something just once? for example, if you have 15 artillery in one square outside an enemy city, rather than clicking bombard 15 individual times, can you just do it once, and the other 14 will follow lead.

I know there's other time savers such as stack movement, fortify/wake all, and holding shift while upgrading a unit to upgrade all units of the type, just wondering if there is one for attacking/bombarding/bombing as well. Otherwise it causes turns in multiplayer to last much longer than it should, especially if you have 30-40 of them to use about every turn. thanks.

I just learned of a ctrl + J of sorts .. it's supposed to be a grouping shortcut.

Unless they added something in C3C, there's no "group bombard"

There is an auto bombard, but that is one unit for many turns, not many units for one turn.

There's a keyboard shortcut list somewhere - in the FAQ thread edit-found it

Ctl + J is a group movement command - all like units in a stack move as one.

I dont think there is a group bombard command. Athough it would come in handy when you have a stack of 50 arty to fire off.

As nice as it sounds at first, I don't want a group bombard. It could be handy, but if I have a SoD of 50 arty, and group bombard a city, I could end up wasting a lot of shots. It would be nice to have, say five or ten unit bombings. But if it was a group, then I'd have to have different groups on different tiles, and defenders for each, so it might be more hassle than it's worth.

I THINK ARTILLARY ARE RUBBISH BUT THATS MY OPINION..

WHAT??? I CANT HEAR YOU OVER THE ARTY GOING OFF.

Arty is great, bombers are better once you get enough cause of the longer range. Just rock them up to a city with a few defenders, an army is great for this if you have one. Blow the $#@& out of it and in roll the offensive units. No fuss no bother and hardly ever loose a unit.
