Ask for help: error occured when open anyone of sample files

I'm using 3ds Max6 and have downloaded the package and setup as follows:
1、copy \CivilizationIV-MaxTools-v6\*.dll->\3dsmax6\
2、copy \CivilizationIV-MaxTools-v6\plugins\*.*->\3dsmax6\plugins\
3、copy \CivilizationIV-MaxTools-v6\scripts\*.*->\3dsmax6\scripts\
4、copy \CivilizationIV-MaxTools-v6\UI\*.cui->\3dsmax6\UI
5、copy \CivilizationIV-MaxTools-v6\UI\Icons\*.*->\3dsmax6\UI\Icons\
6、copy \CivilizationIV-MaxTools-v6\UI\macroscripts\*.*->\3dsmax6\UI\macroscripts\
and I access into 3dsmax successfully and find civIV command panels. But when I try to open, for example, "Tank_Model_Damage_State_Models.max", an error window appears just like showed in the picture:

is there anyone who can tell me what's wrong actually is? and how to correct this? Thanks!

I believe the sample files are in Max7 format and can't be used with 6.
