Assassin's Creed was quite enjoyable. I made sure to make a save after the game was over so I could go back and wander around the cities again. There are definitely things wrong with the game, but at the same time it gets so many things right. Being able to go just about anywhere in the cities is fantastic. Once you get 10 daggers, they become incredibly useful, like a medieval sniper rifle.
The cinematics aren't too bad imo, the biggest problem with the game imo is the camera deciding to move for me. This is a pet peeve of mine in all kinds of games, this one just happens to do it everytime you pull off a combo. And then whenever you rescue someone/complete a task. There have been so many times that I've saved someone, talked with them, and then wanted to run away from the approaching guards and couldn't.
Still, even with these issues, the game is well done, and enjoyable. I'll be picking it up again from time to time just to run around the roof tops, and go around backstabbing random guards.
