The way things are going WHY NOT? They can build cities in the water. They can have mermen unique units, or dolphin armies! That's fun. It's certainly interesting. If we're gonna ask Firaxis for rando stuff, let's at least ask for something that'll have original gameplay and be weird. :king:

Not sure if trolling, but I'd play it. ;) Although tbh this is dead-on mod material. Sea cities for a unique civ as a special ability would certainly be something we haven't seen before (SMAC doesn't count as a Civ game :p).

Meh, that's boring. I want real revolutionary fresh changes and civs, for example India being ruled by somebody else than gandhi

For so long, Civ has been about real world civilisations whose existence and history had at least a reliable account. I doubt Atlantis would become a Civ civ, that is to say I don't think they will make it.
You can make a mod if you want to. We'll help.

It's been since CivII that Atlantis made it in the game. Was kinda fun playing with it, as long as the Great Eruption event didn't swallow your core cities before you were well established in other parts of the Mediterranean. ;)
But what you propose is Mytholization, not Civilization. :mischief:

That's mere implementation of other graphics then a 'revolutionary' game change.

I confess that I do not mind having Atlantis in a fictional and legendary scenario. :D

Maybe ... The search for Atlantis? :crazyeye:

In this scenario could include other legendary continents like Lemuria, Mu and the lost city of El Dorado

OK but who leads them? King Orin aka Arthur Curry or Namor the Submariner? If they go with Arthur Curry do you think they could get Jason Momoa to do his voice acting?

That's the joke, dude :p Leader change and kicking out gandhi is less probable than new mythical civs due to the absurd meme status gandhi got in the series.

Thanks! I might take you up on that offer. :)

It would make more sense as a mod, but so would 75% of the civs people ask for. :p It would at least be more flavorful than Firaxis adding Canada, Australia, Switzerland, or any other cookie cutter civ people like to beg for. Personally, I'd rather see the Minoans before Atlantis. ;)

So True.
