Barbarian Bug

I seem to remember that barbarians only spawn in areas of the map that are not within visibility range. I am having them frequently spawn in the middle of my empire, in full views of cities or units on hills.

Anyone else having this joyfull occurance?

I've never had this problem. Are you sure that you aren't just failing to notice them until they get close? You won't get the "enemy near...." warning until they get close to your cities, and are often well inside your visible range. So far I've never seen a barbappear anywhere that is visible to me.

At this time I have 3 cities all of whos boundaries touch. They make an equilateral triangle and the barbarians have appeared in the middle of them
