Barbarian Challenge

I think it would be a cool idea to include a barbarian challenge, where you play as the barbs and your goal is to wipe out all civilization. It would be pretty difficult with just encampments unless they brought back the barb cities from Civ IV.

Perhaps you can generate gold and when you can get enough, you can found a new encampment in a tile that is not within a civ's line of sight.

That sounds fun.

There would have to be rules like you can't take cities and you only get access to technologies (units) that more than half of the current civilizations possess.

It would be fun to have all the camps on the map under your vision and control and have units spawning every 5-15 turns in each camp, but have no control over where the camps are or where they spawn.

I really like your additions! Spawning encampments every few turns seems better than earning gold and founding encampments.
