BATmod saves crash past 1804.

In my most recent game I can't get any saves to load past the year 1804.

I'm using BATmod 2.1 & Civ - Beyond the Sword 3.19.

Attached are 4 saves. 2 are from my during play, and 2 are auto saves. The 1804 auto save is the only one I can get to load. All the others go through all the steps, then crash the very second before I would normally start playing. ("Finishing" with full blue bar and unit sounds playing).

Computer specs are standard P-7811 FX.
Processor --- 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400
Memory --- 4GB, 667MHz DDR3
Hard drive --- 200GB 7,200rpm
Chipset --- Intel P45
Graphics --- Nvidia GeForce 9800M GTS
Operating System --- Windows Vista Premium (64-bit)

Game uses up a little more than 50% of RAM during play, and core temperatures never go above 65 degrees.

I've haven't played Civ4 in a while, and after finally trying out the BATmod, I get into an old noble habit of building my economy at the expense of my military in the later game. So, I finally get a prince game going as Julius Caesar, have a decent start, and focus militarily while just keeping the economy alive. I'm about 40 rounds from finishing the game with an amazing conquest win, and now the stupid thing won't load.

Anyway, I did a search, and apparently it's normal for BATmod to be near unplayable in the later eras because of graphics glitches. Is that true?

I'm not sure this is your answer but there was a patch to BAT 2.1 called 2.1.1a or something like that. Possibly that will help.
