I already had it for my PS2 (and would have played it to death by now if it were any other game), but I wanted to try the XL battles on PC because they sounded, in every possible way, epic. I also thought the XBox content was on it (Kit Fisto, etc), but it wasn't. Not a big deal, I guess.

Anyway. I've played all 4 XL battles (including Kashyyyk twice due to 2 eras). And every single time, I lost. This is in complete spite of me literally mowing down the enemy by the dozen. My K/D spread is phenomenal, it's something you'd expect to get playing on normal. But the enemy always manages to beat me to 350 points. Once I got to 320ish, but they still won.

What the hell is the deal here?

Another thing I noticed: A whole bunch of dudes will just stand around doing nothing on both sides. This will be anywhere from a few moments to a few minutes. My PC is pretty damn powerful, so it's probably not a processor issue.

Anyway. Rest of the game is as good as, if not better, than I remembered. Engineers wreak havoc amongst the enemy. :D

I LOVED Battlefront 2 for the PS2. I think that for the PC (IIRC) this game has mods that add maps and game modes and new units and stuff.

I need to get this for my laptop :D

I've been playing Galactic Conquest. Already won as CIS and Republic, now I'm on to the Empire.

The Rebels have been spamming fleets from Mygeeto. Endor and Coruscant have been attacked twice each. I just fended off the second Endor invasion. I had bacta tanks and was an Engineer after I found out why I never sniped on Endor (hint: it involves my death and foliage), they had combat shielding.

The Rebels had 35 dudes left. I had 3: Me, a Scout trooper on a speeder bike, and an AT-TE. Assuming the Scout trooper would hitch a ride in the walker, I stole his bike and raced off to a Rebel command post so we wouldn't die (I think we had two left). The Scout went Leeroy Jenkins on the Ewoks and died. The AT-TE reduced their reinforcements by about 10 (and probably a dozen Ewoks) before finally keeling over. 5 guys rushed my position while everyone else was distracted by my only ally, so I hopped on my speeder, went to the next one, and took it. Then I went back to the one in the corner and camped.

I killed all 20 rebels and at least that many Ewoks. It was glorious.
