Japanese??Japanese are only famous for their asia invasions!Japan are famous for their Maniac man who rapes woman during invasion.Dont be mistaken ,even though u think Japan is great for invading China ,it is not 1/4 of whole China and guess what China during that time has inferior weapons yet they could provide strong resistance to some moron Japanese and we ARE AT WAR WITH MANY EUROPEAN COUNTRIES during that time and many years before that.Our unstable society could provide strong resistance against Japan and europeans.Japan economy is declining so fast already,China's economy is expected to be 3 times larger than Japanese's golden age economy
.Japan is the only country who experience the horror of atomic bombs!Sorry if i have insulted Japanese,their altitude during war time is the worst!Who invented the satanic idea of Kamikaze that BRING DOWN WTC??well Japan is doing well now(but is already declining very fast) because of US support if not it is next the worst nation in the world as nobody will support them!Dont be mistaken I feel sad for the victims of WTC as the view we are all humans together,the bringing down of WTC is one of the loss of human achievements!I am really sad because such a magnificent building can be brought down by human devils and thousands of lives die like that.

BigDog_Civ asks what people's favorite civ in the game is after trying out their different abilities, and you Fayadi go off on some rant about Japan invading China and causing the destruction of the WTC. I'm sorry, but I don't really see the connection in your train-wreck of thoughts.
I'm still waiting for my game to arrive, but after reading other posters' stories I think my favorite civ will be the Greeks.

i'm talkin about the game ,,, i've played with american and ffrench and they are really weak starting off so that i'm so far behind i can't catch up later,,, and i only think japan rules in the GAME,,

It's not the fact that you misunderstood......you misunderstand a lot of things since coming to the Forums. People make mistakes but according to the time you have logged and the posts you have made, you should know these things by now.
Stormerne is just a little fustrated because most people would have picked it up by now, don't take his correction for a Flame, he just likes using different colors for the posts.
Being a fan of Civilization you should understand that we must have rules. Stormerne is just doing his job and upholding the rules. Also I think his post was fairly professional, one of the more professional posters around, myself included.
Also MOD's don't have the power to ban users. Only Admins can do that.

In the game's tech page it reads 4/3/3
I like the Aztecs the best, for mainly three reasons:
1) Military rules, it gives you the edge in early games which is very important if you don't want to share real-estate with your pesky neighbors.
2)Religous is key; for any city placement, to get the edges of those resource squares, it is a must. Culture is important, and since war is part of the fun, we don't lose any of that culture either with the temples being as cheap as they get. No anarchy between governments is a nice addition as well.
3)Jaguar-warrior is the best CSU, in my opinion that is. First of all, it is cheap and you get it first in the game. It's fast (2 walk), and could be used as an early scout, comparative to the Expansionists' benefit of a scout unit. The warrior is also lethal and quick; very often reaching Elite status - due to Military and his ability to withdraw in battle - after I'd have him putting down some looming barbarians.
One of my tactic for using the Jaguar is to have him scout for huts, locate any neighboring Civs, hostile or peaceful, I'd steal his worker, if he has any, then camp outside enemy base and wait for reinforcements. And it wouldn't take long before three or four Jaguars are hopping around his lonesome city like jack-rabbits. I'd have them raid simultaneously, usually he'd crumble, but if not, count on 3/4 of my jaguars would still be alive to rest out their wounds and fight for another day - with more backup on the way

I find that the Aztecs are great for an early start as well, the main problem I've had is getting my golden age at a point where I only have one city, that definitely doesn't help me finish any wonders. Aztecs are almost as good at being expansionist as an Expansionist nation though, really nice to be able to clear huts AND attack your rivals with one type of troop.
Personally, I think scouts should treat all terrain types as plains, I've started numerous times in rugged terrain with a scout that might as well have been a warrior.
As for the Japanese, I haven't started with them yet...I don't think military is all that great of an advantage. Give me Industrious and either commercial/religious/scientific instead. Industrious is the best attribute to my style of play...get the roads and terrian improvements out quickly, have more production, food, trade in your cities and go for a massive empire ASAP...the only other combination I truly like is the Babylonian Science + Religious...80% of the buildings you build are cheaper and they all give a cultural bonus. (Not to mention nice archers).
If you start near an industrious nation, go to war with them and suck up their workers...they will still be industrious for you, which is very nice, conversely if you are industrious and your opponents are not, take their workers and add them to your cities, no sense having workers that aren't industrious. Early in the game, workers can make a huge difference in rush building things...if you''ve already got temples and a few peacekeepers (and especially if you have some luxuries) you don't have to worry about your people getting upset. Each worker that you capture can be used directly to make another offensive unit!

the chinese are the best the lower difficulty levels, because it quite easy to conquer we them. but in higher levels i prefer the persians and the french. the persians immortal are very hard to stop and the french low corruption is great for wide empires.
I like the greeks and the romans but trhe overall best civ is the americans.
For some reason they get to have their special unit forever. (?)
And they get their golden age exaktly at the time of the space race wich means easy win.
And they are expansive and industrious, the best 2 civ specifics in my opinion.
And remember 25 turns (the lenght of the golden age) in the endgame is 20 times as good as in the early game where you get nothing for it.
I think that having an ancient csu is often the best but golden ages is always better the later they are.
