Hey, I'm just wondering what your opinions are for the best map conditions (size, water, temperature, precipitation, and age) for a OCC 20k game. It seems to me: huge, so you have less chance of getting attacked and plenty of room for colonies before they are taken over by other civs. Wet so you have a good chance of getting a river. Island or continent, for the same isolation factor as a huge map. 5 or 4 billion, but I'm a little confused on this: A mined hill has same production value as a mined mountain, but has a food, right? do mountains have more commerce? There's a better chance of certain resources in mountains, right? but horses are in hills a lot. Anyways, temperature seems like it has an effect on the resources available too. what do y'all think?
thanks
