I'm a newbie so not a lot of skill or stories here, but I'm really happy with how my latest match turned out. Got "Augustus Caesar" ranking.

Prince, Duel, Earth, as Japan; No barbarians, 25 city states. I was originally going to go for Domination, but decided to just wait for a time victory and see what my score would turn out to be. Ended up with 3019. My sole opponent, England, got 1400 something.

Pretty unorthodox and not too challenging, but it was way fun.

Having fun is the most important part of civ 5

Huge pangaea, marathon, immortal, Germany. The amount of barbarians that joined my cause helped me defeat all opponents before gunpowder.

My best is on King, by score as America. Continents map and I took my continent before I met the others.

A Science Victory in 1788. Just a lousy 3900 points in the HoF. But still 400 points better than my next best one.

I can't better it, the first play was before certain patches was in, so I might be chasing ducks? Or it is goose-chase?
