Right in the middle for me

Well, it depends on the Civ you are playing and so on. Warm and Dry (More deserts) will be better for an Agricultural Civ for instance. I usually play on average settings else.

I, also, would be 'in the middle' {smack dab in the middle}. but, temerate wet. it allows for some flood plains, which r good.

I prefer temperate, moderate, as it usually gives a nice balance of terrain types.

I prefer wet and moderate. The more rivers the merrier!

I choose wet and temperate. Warm has too many deserts, [homer] mmm dessert [/homer]. And unless you are agricultural they don't help. Wet is good for rivers and jungle which later turn into coal, rubber, defence, and eventually grassland.
