Black and White 2 help

Im having some problems with my black and white 2 game and I dont know what to do. I've spent almost a hundred dollars on just getting this game to run. It requires "pixel shader 1.1" which i was told by geek squad that a "GeForce MX 4000" graphics card would work. The card works, the game is installed but the pixel shader 1.1 error window still keeps poppings up. I'd appreciate some help.

I think that they told you incorrectly... My memory is fuzzy though, and I can't find very detailed specs on that card for some reason. Even so, that card is extremely low end... even if it would run B&W2, it wouldn't do so very well.

You're going to get screwed at a place like best buy though. For $100 you should easily be able to get a Radeon 9800 Pro, which is a respectable card. Heck, for $120-130 you could get a Geforce 6600GT, which is a very good budget card. I would get a refund (and you should get a full refund IMO, since they mislead or misinformed you about what you were buying) and get a card off of Newegg or etc and pop it in yourself. Very easy to do.

yeah i was pretty pissed off. I installed the crappy one so yeah no problem there. Thanks alot for the help.
