Blake's better AI and GOTM

Does anybody have any suggestion on what the best way to play with Blake's AI mods and either WOTM or GOTM.

I currently have CVGameCoreDLL.dll in my My documents\warlords\custom Assets folder. My understanding is that this makes his improved AI available for both Vanilla and Warlord's CIV.

When I want to play a GOTM, what is the best way to disable the AI?
Is there a way to check and see for sure if the Blake AI is running.

Also is there in discussion about making has AI part of the GOTM? It is incorporated in Warlord 2.08 (which may account for why WOTM3 was so hard.!).
 
No, Blake's is not on when you are using mods.
Enabling any mod (including HOF MOD) ignores any of your CustomAssets.
 
Though I think there is an argument for integrating Blake's changes into the HoF mod. I don't like to have to choose between gotm and the improved AI. :D
 
You can't change the AI to play the GOTM - otherwise, people could change it to an AI that never buids anything and gives-away all its techs. ;)

We *could* consider using blake's AI as part of the HOF mod though. :hmm: And yes - a lot of his improvements did make it into Warlords v2.08 IIRC.
 
Blake himself states peacemongers are UP in his current mod version as they're not efficiently defending vs new AI attack tactics directed primarily on player.

Would you ever consider using/incorporating a user mod into the GOTM/WOTM?
If you know of a good user mod that doesn't alter gameplay, post a link here. We will consider it for inclusion in a future release of the HOF Mod which would make it available for GOTM. A lot of the HOF Mod is made up of popular user mods.
