This is a horrible solution. Copying the Gods and Kings DLL into that directory will allow it to start, but will not include any of the new gameplay systems.

Actually that other guy Delirium posted the correct dll I believe. It's 3927 kB vs G&K 3412 kB.

Yep, definitely works. Just started a game as Morocco and started a trade route, all systems work.

Gods & Kings was loading for some people with the expansion, rather than Brave New World. For me, the BNW intro played, but G&K was enabled, and I wasn't able to turn on BNW. Restarting Steam seems to be the solution to this. Will update here if it works for me.

Yes, one must restart Steam! I blush to say I wasted 30 minutes of my late-night play time until that obvious "fix" occurred to me.

Ah, I had the same problem, but I solved it in about 5 seconds by restarting Steam.

Yep, restarting Steam seems to be the solution. I tried loading Civ this morning before work, just to make sure it was patched for when I get home tonight. Civ started with G&K instead of BNW. I went into Steam and had it check for Steam updates. Sure enough, there was an update dated yesterday, so I applied that and restarted Steam. After the restart, loading Civ caused it to fully install BNW!

tl;dr Restart Steam, play BNW.
