Bomber Mission from Carrier Question?

I cannot launch bomber missions from a carrier. I highlight the plane in the carrier info box and no bomb button appears. Running Civ version 1.21g on OSX 10.2.5.

Do I need a new patch?
Solutions?

I know that that highlighting in the carrier info box would seem to be the most intuitive way, but you have to right-click or cntrl/cmd-click on the stack and 'Activate' all of the aircraft whenever your carrier moves 'cos they go to sleep. They will then come up in sequence for their orders.
