slighlty off topic but have you added bones to a skeleton in blender? any tips on how to do it? I need to give my old leaderheads some legs

select your armature in blender (and only the armature)
- edit mode
- space - new - bone

in the buttons window you can rename the new bone and also add / change the parent bone (Editing - F9 - armature bones)

but honestly - i think i have added more bones in nifskope than in blender til now
