BTS and warlords

I have a few questions about the compatibilty of the BTS expansion.

If I don't have warlords installed will BTS add support for the features that were added in warlords (such as vassalage and the leaders that it added)? I've read it has some of the functionality that warlords has, but what exactly?

If I do have warlords installed, will I be able to use its functionality alongside with the BTS functionality in the same game?

BtS contains ALL of the gameplay features and upgrades that Warlords has. The ONLY thing that BtS does not have are the scenarios from Warlords. The gameplay updates, the leaders, the units, the civs, etc. are in BtS. If you don't have Warlords, the only reason to get that in addition to BtS is if you want the scenarios from Warlords.
