BTS crashing like crazy

what is beyond the snore? is that another expansion pack!! what is new in it:dunno:
Beyond the Sword is a new expansion and lots is new ;) have a look in the Beyond the Sword forum here (second from above in the main forum).

This is pretty much all they give me. There's more alphanumeric gibberish if you scroll the error contents report. Sorry they're in the way but winblows has this weird can't move windows at certain times thing and I was too lazy to take the time to rearrange them properly. I checked the logs and there looks to be some cryptic error in the audio portion. I also remember seeing a Node Shadow is not present error in the logs too but I'm not sure if its in the latest batch. I think I may have gotten rid of the bsod errors by updating my bios but I'm not sure. The other errors are still here though.
Sorry I missed the audio error - it is a weird thing, could you try to disable sound for now just to see if it is the cause of the crashes?
OTOH you also have some errors in the art section of two buildings - this just looks like some sort of corrupted file system, but you did un- and reinstall right?

I disabled the sound and still got crashed. The BSOD errors have come back...something to do with nv_disp. I searched everywhere and the only solution seems to be to update gfx drivers. Unfortunately, mine are already updated.

Hm, did the crashing start after you updated your Nvidia drivers? Try going back to an older driver version, preferably a WHQL certified one.

If I recall correctly I updated after the crashing started but it didn't fix anything. I switched back to high today...and it crashed again after a somewhat longer time. No BSOD this time though.

My video card again is a Go 6150. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out of this mess. This is driving me crazy and there is no falling back on updated drivers...compaq hasn't released updates for their graphics in a year.

By the way it is nv4_disp not nv_disp sorry

I set the max frame rate to 30 and still got crashed. The BSOD seems to come and go as a dominating factor but the crash to desktop is everpresent

I upgraded my memory from 1 gb to around 2 gb. Although it occasionally pauses it hasn't crashed since.
