BtS demo flickers

Hey there,


I just couldn't wait any longer for BtS so I installed the BtS demo. I can hear the Take2 trailer and nVidia ad but I can't see anything but flickering on my screen.

This is how it looks like while playing the Take2 trailer:

Later it changes to blue.

I have nVidia Forceware drivers version 158.24 installed. I also tried updating to beta driver 162.22 but that didn't help. In fact, it made things worse as Warlods flickers also now. So I reverted to 158.24.

I'm afraid I can't play BtS when my amazon.com parcel arrives so I want to start troubleshooting early.

Is there anybody experiencing the same problems? Can anybody help me?

Intel DG965WH / Intel Core 2 Duo E6400, 2 GB RAM, nVidia GeForce 7950 GT (512 MB), Windows Vista Ultimate 32 Bit (fully patched)

I found a solution: You have to underclock (!) your GPU / memory bus using nVidia's nTune tool.
