BTS game freezes during new turn 1900 AD

Running a recently bought copy of Civ 4: Complete. It's never asked me to patch so I assume it's the newest version (1.9? 1.09?).

Hi everyone. So I've been playing this game for a couple weeks on Monarch difficulty and it looks like I might *finally* win one...going for cultural victory. Anyways, it's 1900 AD on Highlands map so there's a lot going on right now.

Enemy moves a bunch, some combat, then it gets stuck at "granary destroyed in Busiris by enemy infiltrators" and just keeps thinking forever. I've let it run (20+ minutes, no change), I've tried reloading, restarting the computer, changing things before ending the turn, no dice. Any help is appreciated.

Make sure that you have the latest version. I recently bought a copy of complete and it was not the latest version, so I updated it. The latest version of Beyond The Sword is 3.19. You can check the version from the opening menu. I don't recall if it is on that first menu screen but if not, then click the Advanced options choice and it will be there. Although I don't recall the menu item name offhand it is pretty obvious that it will give you info about your game installation, which will include the version number. You can also check from the OS but you need to say what OS you are using if you need to find out how.

BTW, as long as you are checking version numbers, latest versions: original Civ4 is 1.74 and Warlords is 2.13.
