BTS Mod, No Task Bar

I just tried to play the MesoAmerica mod and a few others, but I can't see the bottom task bar that's normally at the bottom of the screen, so Its not much fun you see. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Either the mod is incompatible, not for your version of the game (different patch), or it can be badly installed. Alternatively, try the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+I and Alt+I to enable/disable parts of the user interface.
