Opera Queen of Civ
Hi.
I probably just never noticed this before, or never ended up in this exact situation, but in my current game I have Egypt south of me, Persia, Zululand, Rome, etc north of me. I had no harbors, but I had a road to Egypt's capital (Thebes) which was then connected to another Egyptian city with a harbor. Persia, et al (north of me) have harbor cities, and I'm able to trade with them even though I have no roads connecting me to the northern countries, and no harbors of my own.
So it seems that I'm routing all of my trade through Egypt's harbor, which is allowing me to trade with the northern countries. Is that how it's always been, or is this a bug?
