Will the Bug cause issues? This bug is not game breaking and most people wont see this in there experience even those that encounter it won't be bothered.
What is the bug?
During the leader selection screen and this might extend to the into cinematic. They ignore the FPS limit placed on the game. In this cause the AMD software that limits the fps of games. Some work like Amina the first leader the FPS limiter works as intended. in my case a 70 fps limit. The 2nd leader Ashoka, world conqueror by passes this and will have no FPS limit in my case 300+ FPS. While writing this bug report i discovered a new feature of the bug. If the game is in the background and not the primary program the FPS limits itself to the monitors FPS limit. What is that called? V-sync? idk in my case 144 fps when in background which is my HZ limit on my monitor.
Why did i mention the into screen?
It also ignores the FPS limit my guess is the animation of the leaders are acting as a cinematic.
So far there is no evidence this happens in the game just leader selection/ culture section if the leader is affected by the bug there has been very little testing.
how Did i encounter this bug i enjoy using fps limits to not use more Electricity than needed for the game. also, my fans start a launch sequence when FPS hits 200 let alone 300+ XD.
