I'm tryinmg to play Civ 4 and it says it can't find steam. Huh? (Same bug for Warlords)

It sounds like you downloaded (illegally) the wrong/steam version of the game.
I suggest you just buy the game.



I can't be 100% sure that you did illegally download the game, so no point in going on a rant about that, but I'm pretty sure that that is what is going on, since the only time it would ask for steam is if it was the steam version, which you would know had you bought it from steam.

I have steam, it works, and I have Warlords, Beyond the Sword, Civ 4, Civ5 and Portal and Civ 3. Only Civ 4 and Warlords dont work

Then I don't know what to tell you,if you have steam there should be no reason for a issue like this.

Are you still having that issue. I also have Steam and I've gotten that error a few times. However, when I restarted Steam and opened the game from my the library screen, the problem went away. I imagine you already tried restarting Steam, but maybe opening the game from the library screen will help.
