the UI says 2 turns left for something (production/research), and it finishes in 1 turn instead...
in civ3 your city would grow, then work a new tile, and then contribute to whatever it was building
in civ4 your city would contribute to whatever it was building and then grow.
it seems this game uses civ3's system...
or is there some other explanation for why the UI would be wrong?
does it apply to gold as well as hammers?
