Current information here.

It wouldn't hurt to rush offshore platforms in these cities either. Four cities would benefit from this so it would require about 1200 gold to rush all four of them.

Is the coastal fortress in Cambride nessecary? Have we been getting attacked by ships here a lot? If not then I would suggest changing to harbor. (We have 0 shields accumulated for this.)

We might want to build spies and/or military units to take out the English cities on this island. The best city for this would be Brighton since it has the highest shield production and no units yet for unhappiness. It also has a temple already.

What's the 6.2 in the other build ques for?

Your suggestions look good to me. I believe the coastal fortress in Cambridge was decided upon by Kev because it is located in a likely attack route from the English.

About "6.2" in the threads for Phobos and Deimos, the first number means that it is presidential term 6 and the second number means that it is discussion thread #2 during this term. the thought is to minimize the risk of someone looking at earlier, outdated threads. :)

All looks very good, Elibb. Thanks.

Cambridge has been approached several times by English ships. None have attacked thus far, but I've seen frigates and ironclads numbering about 5 or 6 at any one time. Granted, the AI never seems to coordinate ship attacks with landings, but I thought it best to prepare for the worst.

I think that somewhere in this mix we could use a spy or two. Our spies seem to be on the Mongol front or the Roman front (with one waiting in Canton for a possible trip to visit the Germans). Perhaps an engineer out of Brighton or some other city to help out as well.

All is looking well.

About the 6.2, et. al. Perhaps we can just use the date that the last turn ended. So we could have Luna 1796, etc. Would that make it easier for everyone or do we wish to remain with the X.X format?

Kev´s suggestion to add the current turn year instead of the number code is IMO a very good one. :) It is more intuitive and informational.

format? [/B]

Brighton is building an engineer right now. There is nothing urgent after that so you can go ahead and build a spy or two.
