Stapel, it might have

- Shakespeare's Theater

OR

the Hospital got destroyed by bombardement before or (near impossible if not impossible) it was disbanded due to no money.

Anyway, a good candidate for Screenshot of the Month - but the Settler in water is way cooler. :)

Is it possible it was destroyed when the city was invaded? Not sure if that would be allowed or not, with it keeping a size 14 pop.

Also, the hospital may have been sold off. But by the looks of it, I'm guessing these possibilities are wrong, given the context...

But yes... Shakespeare's theatre acts as a hospital too? Really? I never realised... Which versions is this true in?

And wasn't the settler in water the result of a badly-generated map? I think the fact that this was naturally-occuring should count way in its favour! :D

Shakespeare acts as a hospital in Conquest.

I just knew you were going to say that :( Any idea if it is the same in PTW or not? (Guess I'll go find out, actually... :p )

Also, it is my experience that hospitals and aqueducts can not be sold off or detroyed in either bombardments or capturing a city. At least I have never been able to sell either or have seen them detroyed.

Correct - you can´t sell aqueducts and hospitals.

As most wonders are usually built in capitals or highly productive cities by the AI, I think it is simply Shakespeare's.

But: The AI is quite ignorant in building a hospital, too. But well - after 5 Hospitals, you can build the battlefield medicine small wonder. :)
