Buying this Game

I remember having a copy of Alpha Centauri couple of years ago and loving it to death. Eventually I stopped playing it and it sort of vanished

Anyone know where I can get a copy of Alpha Centauri + Alien Crossfire for less than 150 bucks? Because that's just, um, a bit too much

OK, you have a difficult quest ahead of you. IIRC Alien Crossfire is out of print, so you are really lucky if you find a copy somewhere. Probably Just Alpha Centauri is easier, but still it means rummaging through a lot of bargain bins if you want a copy.

Alpha Centauri is very easy to get, its just darn Alien Crossfire

Oh, i't pretty darn hard to find here in Norway, but that might not be the truth in the United States...

But what I said about Alien Crossfire still stands.

Try ebay. SMAC and SMAX are regularly sold there. You only get a used copy, but may save yourself a lot of time. Before you make a bid, make sure that you'll get the original CD, the manual, the installation guide, and the tech tree poster.
