This is a byzantine city set :)
Please note that apart from the three main churches which i made (the red domed one, the roman basilica with brown roof and two towers, and the massive Hagia Sofia in size 4) the rest of the gfx were made (to my knowledge at least) by Curt Sibling.

What does KX stand for?

On a side note: good cities :goodjob:

This is very good work varwnos !

It is my monogram :)
The first letters of Kyriakos (my christian name) and Chalkopoulos (my surname) which in greek begins with an X ;)

Thanks, I suspected that much Кириакос Халкополус ;)

Kyriakos ( Κυριάκος ) is a bit more common as a monk's name, due to its meaning ;)
(it means Lordian)

@ Civinator : ty :)

What is lordian? Or the Lord?

First post ;)

Thank you. Yes, the second picture is called "byzantineblue". But I haven´t seen much "blue" in it. :D But anyway: Your cities aree great.

Edited: I don´t know, why I get a double post, while editing the post above.

I uploaded a blue version as well ;)

I was kind of confused as well. Okay, it is bluish :)

Good set. Got any scenario plans to use it in?

My only civ2 scenario (or rather the only one somewhat decent) can be found in the spanish civ2 site. It is titled "the empire of Thessalonike" and is about the despotate of Epiros becmming that empire, in the first decades of the 13th century ;)

I want to try that!!! Where is that site? Or did you upload it to CFC as well?

Thanks, loaded, testing :)

Pas ca :)
As you said it is a beta, so I cant really comment. It has good potential, but few word events, strange units written with a small letter and graphics that is not 100% changed. It looks unfinished :)
However I'm sure when you finish it it will be a great scenario. I like both the choice of map (cities) and the historical event chosen.
