CAB file missing

Sorry for the long post.

Hello. I recently got a new CIV4 Complete disk when my old one was scratched and installed it. It worked great for a couple of months, but when I tried to reinstall (for whatever reason-I think it was becuase I overwrote a file or something) it said the CAB file was missing. Did a bit of research and wikipedia said it was an undeletable file. Does anyone know if there is a way of restoring the file? The disk case says "Civilization III & IV complete edition" and has colonization, BTS and Warlords. I got from Amazon for about £10 or so.

Don't worry, Iv'e ordered a new disk that should come in time for the weekend, but if anyone can help me with this (even if you see no-one has replied and its the year 2030), it would be most appreciated.

Maybe you should delete the civ 4 files from the Documents/My Games/beyond the sword.
PS. It's not 2030 but in 10 years I can come back to this thread and edit this post.
