I know what the box says, but from what people here have experienced, please let me know if this lineup will work for Civ 4:

2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz 2 Dimm
Intel Pentium M Processor 770 (2.13 GHz/2MB Cache/533MHz FSB)
256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 GTX

Thank you.

All I can say is it *should* do with that spec. Just be sure that all your necessary drivers are up to date. Good luck with it.

My computer is samilar but less powerfull
1GB, DDR2, 667MHz 2 Dimm, for Inspiron E1705,
Intel Core Duo Processor T2400 EA (1.83GHz/667MHz FSB)
256MB NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800

I did not opt for the GTX, I had to turn of autosave- but other than that everything works perfectly, I think your safe.

I wouldn't bet $50 on it. You may want to wait and see what the reaction to the coming patch is before committing to purchase.

I'm playing on a Semtron laptop that runs at 1.8ghz with an ATI 200M shared video card leaving 384 megs of ram... I have no problem playing and either will you. Enjoy CIV 4... it's extremely well done.:goodjob:
