Is there any handy way to change the songs that are playing? I can't seem to find anything about it, but with the ability to change the ingame music directory to whatever you wish, it sure would be nice to be able to skip tracks. Thanks ahead of time.

I don't think there's an easy way, but try different combinations of ctrl+alt+things. They do some odd things 
Also, try hitting shift-` and doing things in the python console. (You may have to have .ini option "cheatcode=chipotle" to enable this, I forget). There's probably a way to do it there, not sure though.
