Can you disable strategic resources?

I was wondering whether it was possible to disable strategic resources?

You could do it in the editor though deleting all of them and unselecting the required resources thing in the units and wonders/improvements parts of the rule changes.

And if you do what Tomoyo suggested, save the game as a senerio. That way, if you screw something up or want to go back to the original, you still can.
