Steps to Reproduce:
1. Put laptop into standby mode.
2. Re-activate laptop.
3. Put Disk 1 (the right disk) in CD-ROM drive.
4. Attempt to start Civ IV.
5. Receive "Cannot locate the CD-ROM" error.
This continues until the laptop is shut down and restarted.
Please, PLEASE, PLEASE fix this Firaxis!!! I'm >< close to installing a no-CD patch just so I can play the game without rebooting.
This is on a Toshiba Tecra S2 laptop running Windows XP Pro. And yes, the disc is an original Civ IV CD and not a copy. Nothing like having copy protection software that treats your paying customers like pirates.
