Can't build cathedrals?

I can't find an answer for this on the forums or anywhere and I don't even know where to ppost this. I'm new I apologize.

I don't know what is going on.

I'm playing on noble since it is my first game, and I've managed to snag 6 of the religions. I'm on a big island so I've been able to focus on tech major time.

Anyway, I have 7 cities that all have a hindu temple. and hinduism is my state religion. and for some reason I can't build even one mandir (hindu cathedral).

details:

when I mouse over the mandir icon it doesn't have any red doesn't even have text telling me how many temples I have. for each of the other religions for which I don't have enough temples, it tells me I only have x/4 (is it 4 and not 3 because I'm playing epic?)

I'm playing warlords 2.08. As in I bought the game and expansion at the same time and installed both and immediately downloaded and installed the 2.08 patch.

I have a hindu temple and monastery in each of the 7 big cities.

I have both the spiral minaret and university of sankore.

I have marble, but not incense.

my civics are : rep, barb, slave, decen, org

I traded for music instead of earning myself.

see any problems there or is this some wierd bug?

can't check at the moment but when you say you can't build even one cathedral does this mean you don't have any? You should be able to build 2 hindu mandirs.

Indeed.

Actually I think it's only one, since for the other religions it says x/4 (not sure why it is 4, cuz I am playing the longer game, not epic but the one in between)

It's because it is already in the build queue of London. The 4 is because you play Huge world size en you are playing epic.

I checked every city to make sure I hadn't already built one, but didn't check the que.
