Can't build settlers

Hey gang,

I've been working on making a central europe map and for some reason when I run it on my Mac I can't build settlers.

I'm building the map using Civ3Edit v1.5 for Windows and I've got Civ3 v 1.29 beta on my Mac at home.

Can anyone help me out?

May you should try the mac editor. I'm sure it would work better...

Unfortunately the Mac one doesn't allow for city placement. That's why I use the Windows version.

Tried your file and you're right. From what I've seen you can't choose to build a settler. Now I'm not sure about this, but is it possible that you accidentally unchecked the "can be built by..." option for the settler unit for one or more of the civs in your bic?
Or did you introduce new prerequisites for some units?

Hey gang,

I think I got it thanks to Trixter. I checked something in the file and found that somehow it got converted to a sea unit with the privateer profile. I have no idea how that happened. Since I'm at work (and don't have access to my Mac) would anyone be willing to try it out again and check to make sure it's fixed?

Nope. Still not working. Sure you posted the new file?
Oh and btw, it's not only the player who doesn't get to build settlers. The computer players don't even seem to start with one....
Hey, post a screenshot of the settler tab in your pc-editor. Maybe someone can see the problem right away.
