Hi, hopefully someone in here will be able to help me. I bought a new computer a couple months ago, and recently tried to install Civ IV: Game of the Year Edition. Everything seemed to install fine, but once I went to play the game some error occured and the game wouldnt boot up. I uninstalled the game, and later on went to reinstall it. However, the disc wont install because it claims I have a more recent version of the game installed already. It says to uninstall the game, but I cant find any files. So I went into the Control Panel, then Uninstall Programs, and happened to find Civ 4 on there. I click to uninstall it, and an error (-5004 : 0x0041f42) occurs and wont uninstall the game (probabily because it isnt there). I'm at a loss at how to get the game to install, and hopefully someone here can help. I am running Windows 7 if that helps at all.
