cant get downloaded units to show up

I have downloaded some of the great units you people have created and would love to be able to use them but they just dont show up. I did everything that the files said to do IE create a file under art/units name it whatever the file is and copy all the flc files over to it. I copied every file even the read me's, Im stuck. some of the files came from NONNOB3 and W.I.N.T.E.R. Someone help me please. Also I am running version 1.29f does this make difference?

Ok, what's going wrong? Did you edit a .bic in the editor to use the new units? Also, there's a units_32.pcx file that you can copy/paste the new images into.

I have not edited any .bic files and I dont have the units_32 file but the instructions didnt say anything about the units_32 file they just said to creat a file named what the unit was and copy all files to it then put it in the art/units folder. If there is an easy way i can do it let me know. thanks.

Ok. You'll need to start the game from a modded .bic file so the game knows what to look for. Did the modpack come with a bic file?

no its not a mod either, just a unit file to be exact the waffen SS file from nonnob3
