Creating a map using Civ7Map

Hi,
Do you have the issue only with the maps you created or also with the ones you download?
For example if you download this one and copy to your mods folder does it work for you and is visible in the game menus?
i had the same problem initially, what i was doing wrong was this. never save the maps anywhere other than the folder where the program is unzipped, and never rename them, only select export and overwrite the .map file in the mods>*map_name*>.map file where the program was extracted/unzipped. then copy the *map_name* folder in its entirety and paste it into the civ 7 files.

Not yet, for now it's mostly editing continent terrain type, biome, and TSL. Features and resources can also be edited but you will have to wait for an update of YnAMP to have total control over them.
Natural wonders cannot be edited yet, and will be placed randomly when you start the game.
So can Features and resources be edited now?
For Resources.. what if they are not in that Age... (ie place Oil use map for Antiquity Age game...does Oil appear on that tile in Antiquity, or will the tile be blank and Oil will appear on it in Modern.)

So can Features and resources be edited now?
Yes but in practice this is not very useful, because of the old world/new world logic the placement does not always make sense.
There's no check on ressource placed, the loading replaces the initial generation so it oil as in your example should be present even if the tile cannot be exploited in antiquity (not sure if it will disapear during age transition).
