Can't Install

Hey Everyone-

Couldn't find this problem. When I try to install the game the autoplay screen comes up fine. After I click install, it runs for about two seconds and then gives me this error:

Other games are installing fine, I can't find any driver updates I may need, and my copy of Civ. IV installs fine on another computer. My specs for the game are more than adequate. Can't figure out what is wrong. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Narrowed it down to a problem with InstallShield but still having problems fixing it. Any suggestions?

hmm, since it points to a c++ file it looks a bit like a requirement you don´t have yet.
Some kind of libary or whatever that comes with a service pack or such.
Try bringing your Windows Version up to date. Service Pack 2 etc.

Furthermore it doesn´t sound like a unique problem, try to search the forum for similar threads that might contain a solution.
