Can't join a LAN

Hi,

First: sorry for my english (i didn't work a lot at school...)

I can't join a LAN with PtW and when i want to be the host, the game end and i'm put on the desk.
With my second computer and the same CD i can be the host or join a game without problems... but with the second computer i can't join the game i configure with the first... What can i do ? Is there somebody with the same problem ? I want to use nuclear bomb against my friend Tule but we can't play because of this problem !

I may be misunderstanding the problem here, but I am pretty sure
you need a cd for each box to run the game. I do not believe you can run a lan (or any other) PTW game without a cd in the pc. Is this right anyone?

Yes, a tech from Firaxis responded to my question about this and he confirmed you need a game CD for each computer. I'm not sure though if you need 2 CIV III CDs plus 2 PTW CDs, or maybe you need just one CIV III and 2 PTW; in any case, I got 2 of each, but am stilling having a problem with the second computer. However, I think the problem is the computer and not the game (it's having lots of unrelated problems as well) and so am going to reimage it. I'll let you know what happens,

he is saying that LAN isn't working on computer A, but is working on computer B. That is his problem.

I've two CD of PTW, but i believe i can't play on a pentium 2 mmx ! With two P4 no problems. But with my pentium 2 mmx i can play alone !!!
