Cant load mp game

Me and a friend can play mp games with no problems. However we cant load a mp game. He gets a runtime error whenever we try to load a game. And the game just wont load. We have tried validating files. Uppdating drivers. Disabling steam cloud. etc.

Anyone got a solution`?

Are you loading the same save over and over? If so I would recommend you try an auto save from the previous turn. If your friend cannot load ANY save, (which is quite strange) maybe you could try having him be the host.

We have tried countless saves. Manual made and auto saves. And we have tried him hosting instead.... Nothing helps...

I dont know what the problem is, the only other piece of advice I can give is to delete and reinstall civ5.

we have the same problem. We cannot load any mp games. We tried different hosts, different game configs, differect dlcs. we even tried to load the game without any other players. Nothing works.

Nothings works! Its definitively no single computer problem, like wrong drivers or something like this. It seems to be a general bug atm that leads somehow to corrupt savegames.
