Cant play downloaded civs

I downloaded the Australian, Korean and Brazilian civilizations via the Civ 5 mods section. And I installed them properly, the same way I have installed custom maps.

The problem is I can't find them either in the game or in the worldbuilder. What have I missed?

If those mods were released before the recent patch, you missed the patch notes that say they removed the <Civilopedia> tag from the XML. Any mod created before the release of that patch won't work if they have that tag in it.

There is a temp fix stickied at the top of the tutorials page. I don't know if that will help with mods you've downloaded though.
