Can't see resources or trees since 1.61 patch

I installed the 1.61 patch, and now I can't see resources on the map anymore.
If I mouse over a tile, it tells me if there is a resource on it, or if there is jungle
or forest, but the sprite no longer displays onto the screen...

What happened? Is there a way to fix this? It is terrible!!!

This is caused by you using a no-cd crack or a pirated copy of the game. Don't use these if you want the game to work.
