Well, in the last chat the Byzantines beat us to the punch and build Sistines before we could finish it. We have 4 turns left until we build Leos Workshop. BUT, we also have 4 turns (can be made lower) left until we research Economics.

Using the "Whats The Big Picture" not-an-exploit, we can switch to Smiths, should we want to.

Of course, heres our question. Next chat is on Tuesday.

Or we could buy Music Theory and change to JS Bach's Cathedral, which would also be built in 4.

Or we could buy Astronomy and build Copernicus next turn, wasting nearly 200 shields.

that makes 4 options

Or we switch to Palace (26 turns) and save it for something else, but that would waste shields.

JS Bach's Cathedral would be very nce to have. We could start a prebuild for Adam Smith's so we can have both.

I am a bit surprised that we do not have Astro yet, I thought we would have got it by now.

I would prefer that we Prebuild Smiths. Getting that GA is good eventually, but noone else has Economics. I would be cautious so that noone else is able to build it, because there is a wonder cascade that has occured, so If someone was able to research Economics in the meantime, then we should build Smith's. If we know that noone has Economics, then build Bach's. Are we willing to take a risk, seems to be what could happen here.

Maya and Byzantines both have Banking, so are not far away from Economics. They both also have other Wonder builds going. So if we don't build Smiths now and start another prebuild for it, we run the risk of them getting it and cascading before we complete our prebuild. I would prefer not to have our Golden Age for a bit longer, but it may be now or we lose Smiths.

I'm going to take from the little discussion that this is getting that the people are alright with switching the prebuild over to Smiths. It sucks that our GA comes from it, but what are we going to do? As Furiey said, we've 2 wonder-happy civs with Banking that would love to have Smiths.

I also say Smith's. If anything, we could use the extra money to:

1. Boost research
2. Rushbuild units/buildings faster
3. Invest in luxuries more (if necessary, to make up the lack of Mike's)
